How Many Baby Teeth?
How Many Baby Teeth?
Baby teeth are deciduous teeth because, like deciduous tree leaves, they fall out. How many teeth does a baby have? The prefix for "10th" is "deci" which is also the prefix in the compound word "deciduous" ... and a baby has 10 teeth on each jaw.

Deciduous dentition dates
How to remember the approx time of eruption of primary teeth....
Remember 6,7,16,12,20....this is 4 mandibular teeth..like...A=6months, B = 7months, C = 16m, D = 12m, E = 20months
Now add 4 in 20 and 2 in all others it becomes..8,9,18,14,24..its 4 maxillary teeth and the same sequence ABCDE....its easy right?
